Word 2007 provides facilities to change to capital letters of any text by using the Change Case command.

- Select the text for which you want to change capitalization.
- Click the Home tab of Font group. Click Change Case command.
- The option offered by the Change Case dialog box are as follows:
- To select an option, click the radio button next to the desired option. The option is selected when a dot appears in the radio button. To deselect the option click again.
- Click OK or press ENTER key.
- The above option are applied in the text and shown in figure.

| Sentence case | The first character of the first word is capitalized. |
| Lower case | All the characters are in lowercase. |
| Upper case | All the characters are in UPPERCASE. |
| Capitalize Each Word | The first letter of each word is capitalized. |
| Toggle case | The first letter of each selected word is in lowercase, the rest are in uppercase |
