Header and Footer are the text or graphics which are printed at the top and bottom of every page respectively in a document . A header is printed in the top margin whereas a footer is printed in the bottom margin . Word 2007 includes built-in-header and footer designs in gallery.

Inserting Header and Footer
- Click the Insert tab, in the Header and Footer group, Click the Header button.
- Click the down arrow . A list Header gallery open and choose your Header.You also edit a header.
- Scroll through the gallery .You will notice the variety of header and footer that are available in the gallery . Select the desired style you want.
Deleting Header and Footer
- Select the Header & Footer you want to delete and then press the red icon x close.
OR
- Select the Header & Footer you want to delete and then press the delete key in your Keyboard .
